when you use Butyl sealant ,Which question have you experienced?
Phenomenon: The extrusion temperature control is suitable, but the adhesion between the aluminum spacer and the butyl sealant is not good or the adhesion is poor.
Reason:
(1) The aluminum partition frame is skewed, and it is not easy to pass through the glue application nozzle or the glue application position is incorrect.
(2)The initial viscosity of the sealant itself is poor.
Suggestion:
(1)The aluminum partition frame should be placed vertically when coating to prevent the non-sticky phenomenon of the aluminum partition strip caused by the difficult passage of the glue nozzle or the incorrect glue position.
(2)Butyl sealant is an elastic and viscous elastomer, which is extruded and adsorbed on the clean aluminum strip through the appropriate temperature and pressure. The melted butyl adhesive diffuses to the surface of the adherend and gradually wets the adherend The surface penetrates deep into the surface pores. This is a physical process. In this process, the butyl rubber and the adherend (aluminum strip) are only in line contact with the surface, and only after being pressed can the surface be adhered to the adherend contact.
